VA Education Benefits

Careborne supports veterans across every chapter of VA education benefits. Our team includes certified School Certifying Officials (SCOs) with years of experience navigating VA education systems, enrollment rules, and compliance requirements.


Post‑9/11 GI Bill (Chapter 33)

For veterans with at least 90 days of service after 9/10/01.
• Tuition paid directly to the school
• Monthly housing allowance
• Book stipend
• Yellow Ribbon (if applicable)


Montgomery GI Bill – Active Duty (Chapter 30)

For veterans who served 2–3 years on active duty.
• Monthly stipend paid directly to the veteran
• Must verify enrollment monthly


Montgomery GI Bill – Selected Reserve (Chapter 1606)

For Reservists with a 6‑year commitment.
• Monthly stipend
• Monthly verification required
• Works alongside drill/Reserve service


Veteran Readiness & Employment – VR&E (Chapter 31)

For veterans with service‑connected disabilities.
• Tuition, books, supplies
• Housing allowance
• Career counseling and job placement
• Support for self‑employment and business plans


Dependents’ Educational Assistance – DEA (Chapter 35)

For spouses and children of veterans who are permanently disabled or deceased due to service.
• Monthly education stipend
• Applies to college, trade schools, apprenticeships
