Careborne - Jump Into The Fight

Founder Spotlight: Jake Mazur

Jake Mazur, founder of Careborne Veteran Services, is a combat veteran of the 82nd Airborne Division, 1st Brigade Combat Team and the 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment, having served through three phases of intense combat during Operation Iraqi Freedom. His deployments in East Baghdad, the Sunni Triangle, and along the Syrian–Iraqi frontier exposed him not only to the realities of war, but to the often-unseen administrative consequences that follow soldiers long after the fighting ends.

During and after his service, Jake witnessed firsthand how acts of valor went unrecognized, how wounds sustained under fire were later diminished by paperwork, and how administrative errors and omissions could quietly reshape a veteran’s record—and future. Those experiences planted the foundation for what would eventually become Careborne: a commitment to ensuring veterans are equipped to confront bureaucracy with clarity, documentation, and informed persistence.

For nearly two decades, Jake has dedicated himself—through avocation—to the study of military records accuracy, historical documentation, and the administrative frameworks that govern awards recognition, exposure‑related conditions, and service‑connected injuries. He brings a rare combination of combat credibility and administrative precision, with deep familiarity in the regulatory landscape surrounding the PACT Act, toxic exposure, and blast‑related traumatic brain injury.

Through education, records organization, and administrative analysis, Jake has helped veterans better understand their own histories, prepare accurate documentation, and engage appropriate accredited channels with confidence and precision. His work centers on restoring clarity, preserving historical truth, and empowering veterans to advocate effectively for themselves within existing systems.

Careborne reflects Jake’s core belief: veterans should never have to fight a second battle simply to prove the reality of their service. Its mission is to bring order where records have failed, clarity where systems have obscured the truth, and dignity to every veteran’s story—so it is accurately understood, properly preserved, and never lost to oversight.

We understand the culture, the stakes, and the cost of service.

“When they see you’ve got Careborne, they’ll know help is already on the way.”

Our Promise - Careborne

Careborne’s promise is simple: no veteran is ever left behind.

We apply discipline, persistence, and administrative precision to uncover the facts, organize the record, and bring clarity where the system has gone quiet. We pursue accuracy relentlessly—because no veteran’s service should be lost to oversight, delay, or indifference.

We are not a volume operation or a call‑center script. We step in when the process feels stalled, when the paperwork doesn’t reflect the truth, and when veterans need structure, clarity, and informed direction to move forward.

When Careborne is involved, veterans know they are not navigating the system alone. They gain organized records, informed perspective, and the confidence to engage appropriate channels with purpose.

We bring discipline, accuracy, and relentless follow‑through to every engagement—because the truth of a veteran’s service deserves to be seen, understood, and preserved with dignity.

With Careborne in your corner, you’re not fighting this alone.

You’ve got backup.
