JUMP INTO THE FIGHT

Jake Mazur, founder of Careborne Veteran Services, is a combat veteran of the 82nd Airborne Division and the 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment who fought through three phases of intense combat during Operation Iraqi Freedom. His years in East Baghdad, the Sunni Triangle, and along the Syrian–Iraqi frontier exposed him not only to the realities of war, but to the quiet, devastating administrative injustices that followed soldiers long after the battles ended.
He witnessed valor denied to soldiers who earned it under fire, wounded soldiers stripped of honors they deserved, and a bureaucratic system that too often failed to recognize the truth written in blood, sacrifice, and service. Those experiences planted the earliest seeds of what would become Careborne — a commitment to ensuring no veteran’s record is left to the mercy of oversight, indifference, or administrative error.
For nearly two decades, Jake has dedicated his life to restoring accuracy, honor, and truth in veteran casework, award corrections, and military records adjudication.. He brings a rare combination of combat credibility and administrative precision, specializing in the regulatory landscape surrounding the PACT Act, toxic exposure, and blast‑related traumatic brain injury. His work has helped veterans secure entitlements tied directly to the injuries they carried home from war.
Careborne reflects Jake’s core belief: veterans should never have to fight a second battle to prove the truth of their service. His mission is to bring remedy where the system has fallen short and to ensure every veteran’s record is corrected, honored, and preserved with the dignity it deserves.
Rooted in the Carolinas — home to some of the nation’s largest military communities — Jake understands the culture, the stakes, and the cost of service.
